Clusters 2.0 at IPIC 2019

Clusters 2.0 participated as a sponsor in the International Physical Internet Conference (IPIC) in London from 9th to 11th July 2019.

What is IPIC?

IPIC (International Physical Internet Conference) is a global forum to explore, discuss and keep updated with the latest and future developments of physical internet applications. IPIC attracts every year bussinesspeople, researchers and decision makers from all over the world with a unique offer of learning and networking activities.

Why did Clusters 2.0 participate?

As a ground-breaking project advancing sustainable logisticsClusters 2.0 supported IPIC as a sponsor to highlight its contribution to efficient logistics operations through physical internet.

Several partners of the consortium, including Argusi, Armines, Van Eck and the coordinator PTV, presented the innovations of the project in terms of business models and IT solutions. We also provided a stand in the networking area to welcome attendees interested in knowing more about the project. As such, IPIC represented a valuable platform for exchanging knowledge and discussing common challenges about interconnected logistics. Also, Clusters 2.0 participated in this exhibition as a successful example of international cooperation towards a more sustainable logistics system.

Furthermore, IPIC stood as a privileged occasion of interacting with a targeted professional audience: policymakers, service providers, industries and associations in the field logistics, transportation, infrastructure, etc. One of Clusters 2.0 main goals is, in fact, to create awareness of its actions and to promote its innovative solutions among whom may need them.
